2009.01.02-04Nan Zhong南庄,Zhou Shan竹山, Lugang鹿港

We backpackers who took adventure in the state together in Sep 2008 had a reunion during New Year. We visited Nan Zhong, Zhou Shan and Lugang.

Jason and Alex were so mean...they laughed at me coz I have a fear of height.It's a waste to treat you both too nice.

Kevin's family is very interesting and friendly. They teach their child not in a tranditional way but in a experienced way. They let Steven go on trips together to experience life.

Alex looked like an old man who lives alone and has a bad illness. :P

On the way to Zhou Shan, sky ladder is over there which is formed by earthquake 921.

On the way to sky ladder. It was a very original path, but it becomes a popular scene, so the local government develops it.

It was so hot that day!!!! We weren't supposed to wear much...but who knew it was hot during New Year@@

All I can discrible abt Jason is.....he is the king of Monkey!!! haaa

Well...I do have a big fear of height, so I just stopped before the sky ladder. Jason and Alex went on it for fun.

It's more beautiful behind the ladder.Very nature and grand sight.Shamed I missed it out.

Ba Gua tea garden.八卦茶園

Glad we liked to take adventure.If we didn't go on the mountains, we never saw such a wonderful view.

We did another crazy thing. Kevin's car ran out of gas, so he parked it beside the road under the mountain. We had 7 adults and 3 kids...and we were all in Jason Tsai's car. How insane we were!

Took them to a Thai restaurant and an ice cream shop. No matter the weather is hot or cold, foreigners like ice cream. Why??? still can't get it!!

I showed Jason and Alex around Lugang on the next day. The first stop was Ma Zhou Temple.

We also visited old street.

Then visited my friend's Dou Hua shop. Welcome to have snacks at my friend's shop.I've known them for more than 17 years.They are very honest and kind.

Alex met a 90+-year-old man.He is very famous that many presidents from many countries took pics with him and the newspaper also interviewed him.
