It's the tallest and biggest Budda image in Taiwan. Do u know why Markus put his head into the stone lion's mouth? We played the game: paper, scissor, stone. The loser had to do that.( Thx God, I won:P) And then he took my head as a stick to hit the drum. See~~he is a real monkey just pretending as a man...haa

Lukang is another ancient and historical spot. There are many National ancient and historical temples and buildings and cultures. The Chinese dolls are called hand puppet theater (its Chinese name is布袋戲bu-dai-xi) It is a popular type of performing arts in the Taiwanese spoken societies. I loved them as well in my childhood.

These two Gods on the door are our God of door. They can prevent any devils from outside.

By the way, it's our ghost month in Auguest this year. So many families or companies hold kind of sacrifice ceremony. We have to prepare many foods and burn some special papers which are called 冥紙( ming-zhi) and are tooken as their money for the people who are underworld. It's a way to respect them. Then we visited other famous ancient and historical spots-half well , nine curved alley and ten fitness story. Half well was for providing water for the passengers before. Ten fitness story means the building fitted on playing Qin( Chinese piano) and Chinese chess and reciting poetry and drinking and smoking and gambling and making tea and painting and appreciatiing flowers and moon.

Eighteen Lohans. Lohan means practicing Buddhist is for themselves not for the human being on the world. After ancient and historical spots' trip, I was tired and exhausted totally.What the worest is I tanned a lot and my skin went worse~~>"<~~~










A-tie gave Markus Spring Festival couplets for gifts. After our adventure from Tainan to Lukang for five days, I strongly suggested him to make a mask to bright his face.

My dad treated him the best wine. It was very interesting because my dad is a very serious person, but after drinking, they could communicate well...haa
